Police Arrest Ogun Teenage Cultists Who Came To Lagos For Reprisal Attack With Charms, Cutlass

There was confusion in the Alakuko area of Lagos State as four (4) teenage cultists have been arrested and paraded by the police.

According to a statement released by the Lagos State Police Command; officers from Alakuko Police Division on Friday, April 16, 2021, apprehended the 4 suspected cultists who came from Ogun State to cause mayhem in Lagos. 

The police revealed that the teenagers arrived the town for reprisal attacks on a rival cult group at the Government Junior Secondary Schools, Akinyele, Alakuko, in Lagos State.

The suspected cultists were identified as Tosin Balogun (18 years old), Sunday Dare (15), Olayinka Jubril (14) and 15-year-old Sani Ayomide Babatunde.

Two of the suspects, Tosin and Olayinka are secondary school students of Odewale Community High School, Ijoko, Ogun State, while Sani is a student of Tunik International School, Dalemo-Alakuko and Dare is a tailoring apprentice also at Dalemo Alakuko. 

Items recovered from them are; weeds (Indian hemp), cuttlasses and several assorted charms. 

The police got wind of their alleged reprisal attacks and swiftly got to the scene where they arrested the suspects before they could unleash terror on their targets.
