Npower Update: We Have Paid Stipends Backlog To All Npower Beneficiaries - Minister

The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has disclosed that they have paid all Npower beneficiaries their backlog stipends

According to the reports published by the Nation Newspaper today May 27, 2021 and shared via their verified Twitter handle, it said the minister made the disclosure in Abuja while she was speaking at a workshop organised by the ministry on effective media reporting of the humanitarian sector.

Madam Sadiya Umar Farouq was quoted: "I don't think we still have the issue of N-power backlog. We have sorted that out with the office of the Accountant General of the Federation. It has been a very tedious process but as at the last count, we have paid all the beneficiaries after the series of processes".

The minister further stated that they have now moved to the final stage of enrolling 1, 000, 000 Batch-C applicants which is to be done in two streams of 500, 000 in the first tranche and another 500, 000 later.

However, as at the time of filing this report, Gracemedia247 has not confirmed the authenticity of Madam minister claims that she has cleared the 5 months backlog stipends to exited batch A and B. In the main time, if you are among the exited Npower beneficiaries who are being owed backlog, kindly indicate here if you have been paid.
