The rate at which crime occurs daily in different parts of the country is quite alarming and calls for major concern. The 30 year old woman known as Blessing Jimoh has killed her own mother in ondo state. The culprit said it was her pastor who said her mother is a witch and has been the cause of her ill fate and life challanges. The culprit has cut her mother with Cutlass while in the farm at Ile-iluiji. When caught, she said she was not in her right state of mind when the incident occurred. She stated that after the pastor told her that her mum was a witch, she wanted to beg her only to find herself killing the woman.

The 30 year old Blessing said her mum is from Enugu State. She pleaded it was her mental state of mind that pushed her into killing her own mother. The pastor who said her mum was a witch could not be traced since they have been looking for him. The state commissioner for police, Bolaji Salami is currently carrying out an investigation and said proper verdict would be carried out on the culprit after the investigation.
