As horrible as this may sound, ritual killings still take place in today's world. Ritualist use their fellow humans for sacrifice Just to obtain wealth and power
Ritualists usually prey on defenseless children and that is why as a parent or guardian you have to be security conscious about your children. I came across a video that was shared on the Internet showing the moment 3 children were rescued by men of the Nigerian police force, from the den of a suspected female ritualist and there are lessons to be learned from it

In the video that was shared, several people could be seen gathered beside the gate of a building, then policemen came out from the building carry 3 children who were looking very pale. They put the 3 children in one of their vehicles and went back into the building
The policemen came out again leading an elderly woman, a man, and some girls into their police vehicle. They also brought out a mortar and a pestle along with a big bowl and immediately the people who gathered around saw this, they began to scream and lament in the Igbo language.
According to Instablog9ja and other sources who shared the video, the elderly woman who the police arrested was a suspected ritualist, the man and the ladies arrested along with her were all her accomplices and the 3 children rescued were victims whom they had intended to use for sacrifice.
The bowl, pestle, and the mortar which the policemen brought out of the building were tools that the suspected ritualist allegedly use to pound children for her rituals
According to Instablog9ja, this incident took place in Awka, Anambra state, and the suspected ritualist runs a ministry. Akuwata street Federal Housing
