A popular news site named Sahara reports, has passed an information about what the Emir of Kastina state did. According to the news, he was accused of giving out a Christian girl to her abductors, so that she can get married. The Emir of Katsina named Abdulmumini Kabir, was said to have married off Aisha Mani who is a Christian to a man named, Mohammed Samaila,. According to the news her family wasn't aware of the marriage.
This information was made known by the Hausa Christian foundation. This organization said that even with the efforts of the police and other law firms, the Emir still went ahead to give the girl out for marriage, to her abductor. The organization is not happy about this, and they are calling out on the government to do something about it.
Giving out children for marriage, without the parent consents is not good. It could be termed as kidnapping and that girl might be underage. The girl's parent needs to take the matter up, with the help of the law before it gets to late.
What's your opinion about this?
