Insecurity:Rivers King,Uniport Lecturer and Others kidnapped
There have been endless reports on abductions in Nigeria of recent.
Despite the concerted security strategies being consistently put in place by the authorities,the kidnappers seem to be having their ways.
Many Nigerians are currently reported to be in captivity while many have died in the hands of the kidnappers.
Meanwhile,news reports have revealed that HRM King Dr. Aaron .M. Ikuru who is the current Chairman of Andoni Area Traditional Rulers Council was forcefully abducted by gunmen from his residence on Sunday evening.
The monarch palace spokesperson identified as one Maurice Ikuru confirmed the unfortunate incident.
The spokesman man made this known to newsmen on Monday morning that the operation occurred between 8:30p.m and 9pm
In a similar development,the armed men equally abducted a number of boat passengers including a lecturer at the University of Port Harcourt when they were travelling back to Port Harcourt from Andoni.
Nnamdi Omoni who is the public relations officer of the Rivers State Police Command confirmed the incident
