"Nobody Demanded For a Kobo From Abbas Hushpuppi" - DCP Abba Kyari Reacts To Allegations

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari has reacted to the recent allegations from the US that he (Kyari) collected bribe to aid internet Fraudster Hushpuppi in an unlawful arrest.

DCP Abba Kyari made the clarifications via a post on his verified Facebook page where he explained in details what transpired between him and Hushpuppi.

According to Kyari, Huahpuppi called their office about 2 years ago on the grounds that somebody was threatening to kill his family in Nigeria and pleaded that the police comes to his aide.

Kyari said that the suspect was traced and arrested but was later released after it was discovered via further investigations that there was no actual threat to anyone's life.

In his words "Nobody demanded for a kobo from Abbas Hushpuppi. Our focus was to save people's lives that were purported to have been threatened"
