Following the tumultuous rain fall in Calabar on Thursday evening, which was accompanied with heavy wind and thunderstorms, so many trees has been uprooted, roofs brought down, damage vehicles, uprooting of billboards and flooding within the Calabar Metropolis.
So many has been rendered homeless, some are not able to able to go back to their houses because of the traffic gridlock.
A house also at Umoh Eden street at Ekpo Abasi has been totally brought down by the heavy storm leaving the house owner and room hopeless and looking for where to pack their properties or spend the night.
From Rabana round about to Effio Ette junction has been locked. Vehicles are neither going forward nor backward.
This is a setback for car owners, tenants and landlords as lots of money is needed to replace the destroyed items.
