Two Nigerians Sentenced To Death By Hanging In Ghana

Two Nigerians have been sentenced to death in Ghana for killing 3 Ghanaian girls in 2018. It's been two years plus of nonstop investigation.


Today, the two boys from Nigeria named Samuel Udeotuk Wills and John Oji was Condemned in a High Court in Ghana.

The hashtag #bringbackoirtaadigirls trended massively online from 2019. Ghanaians tweeted fiercely and caught the attention of the whole of Ghana and other Nations.


The remains of the girls was later found in a septic tank in the house of one of the then suspects.

According to a well known Ghana blogger Ameyaw Debrah who broke the news: "The two Nigerians, Samuel Udoetuk Wills and John Oji have been found guilty of kidnapping and killing the four Takoradi girls. They have subsequently been sentenced to death by hanging.

In a Graphic Online report, the two were found guilty by the jury at the Sekondi High Court Friday, March 5, 2021." Ameyaw wrote.

The high Court was presided over by Justice Richard Adjei Frimpong. He gave the sentence after the 7-member jury found them guilty.
