The Police in Delta State Command have arrested an Inspector of Police and others over the death of a graduate in the state.
Information gathered reveals that a suspect by name Omokaro Okoro who was arrested by the Police confessed that the deceased was the the source of the photograph of a gun found in his phone. This made the Police to arrest him but unfortunately, he died in Police custody few days after arrest. The incident was said to happen on the 27th of April, 2021.
The Inspector attached to the Rapid Respond Squad in the State has been arrested by the Operatives of the State Criminal Investigation Department with two others identified as Franca Osas and Biggie.
The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe yesterday confirmed the incident and said the Commissioner of Police has ordered immediate investigation to unravel the cause of the death of the deceased.
Meanwhile the corpse has since be deposited in the Mortuary.
