The issue of unknown gunmen in the east has been a thorn in the flesh of residents who reside in the eastern part of Nigeria. They are always in the news for the wrong reason.
They are known to attack police stations, Checkpoints and security personnel, in the East, while burning down public infrastructures.
It was recently reported by Sahara reporters how a student of college of science at Nnamdi Azikwe university was killed in Nnewi, by unknown gunmen.
Aside the burning of the public infrastructures, Sahara Reporters, In a recent news, also reported how unknown gunmen attacked the home of Joe Igbokwe, the special adviser on drainage and water resources to the Lagos state
The gunmen were said to have arrived in vehicle at his residence, while offloading Jerry and of petrol from the Sienna car, which they used to burn down his home, as captured from CCTV camera.
This attack on Igbokwe's home is yet another attack on a prestigious name in the East.
The same Unknown gunmen attacked a man in his car at Igbariam Anambra state, they dragged him out of the car and shot him repeatedly in the chest, while leaving him to bleed to his death.
It's now obvious that the unknown Gunmen are becoming a menace to the residents of Anambra State.
They have proven to be a threat to the peace of Anambra state, this is why Anambra state may be unsafe to travel to at the moment. Travelling there will only increase your risk of encountering this deadly unknown gunmen.
