An Open Letter To Nnamdi Kanu Concerning The Crises In S/E, Igbos Don't Need ESN

This is an important message to Nnamdi Kanu concerning ESN militia and their operations. We Igbos are peace loving people who venture into different businesses to survive. But the current security situation is making things difficult.

We Igbos want development and progress in our region but there can never be progress where there is no peace. The recent cases of killings and destruction of properties is really affecting businesses and this may lead many families into hardship.

Dear Nnamdi Kanu, you said you were creating ESN in order to restore peace to Igbo land but what we are seeing today is nothing close to that. ESN operatives have not brought any peace than there was before now. For the sake of our businesses, I am urging Nnamdi Kanu to order his boys to surrender their weapons to the federal government as this will ease the tension in the Southeast, especially Imo state.

As for security in the Southeast, we Igbos don't need ESN because through the efforts of our governors, they have successfully created a formidable security unit called EbubeAgu which is meant to secure the life of Igbos.

This is my opinion and I believe surrendering to the federal government is the best decision to take at this moment. I sincerely believe that peace would be restored to the southeast once ESN is dissolved and sun will shine once again.
