The security situation in Nigeria in recent time is getting worse everyday. Banditry, kidnappings, continue to worsen especially in the northern part of Nigeria.
The man who can be identified as Sheidu is a physically challenged person, he was kidnapped in the early hour of today while on his way to observe "salat" (early morning Muslim prayer) in a nearby mosque in Ihima community.
People around the Kidnapping scene confirmed that the man cried for help until the gunmen finally zoomed off. Mr Sheidu was heard shouting "help me, help me, don't allow them take me away". Even the people inside the close by mosque couldn't come out to rescue him because the Kidnapper heavily guard themselves with guns.
Mr Sheidu was taken away around 5:30AM by the gunmen without any trace up till now.
His people have been left confused as they don't know where to begin the search of him from, or even to identify the reason he was kidnapped. Considering the fact that the man suffered with hunchback, what could the Kidnappers want from him?
May God help Kogi and Nigeria at large.
Pray for him to return safely!
