Flood

Which Miracle Is Greater? Walking On The Stormy Sea Or Walking On The Seabed In A Divided Sea?

Which is greater? Walking on the stormy sea or walking on the congealed seabed or congealed riverbed in a divided sea and river?

Genesis 1:2 "And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."

During the first day of creation, God walked or moved on the sea, the deep. But when His People and Prophets were passing over the Red Sea and River Jordan, he divided the water bodies and made them to walk through the frozen congealed bed of the sea or river with the waters frozen at both sides.

Exodus 15:8 And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and THE DEPTHS WERE CONGEALED IN THE HEART OF THE SEA."

When Moses and the Children of Israel were passing through the Red Sea on the dry ground; when Joshua the son of Nun and the Children of Israel were passing through the River Jordan on the dry ground; when Prophet Elijah struck the River Jordan with his mantle and passed through it on the dry ground; when Prophet Elisha struck the River Jordan with Elijah's mantle and walked through on the dry ground of the River Jordan, the Floor of depth of the Red Sea and River Jordan were CONGEALED, that is, FROZEN and turned from a sandy, slippery seabed and riverbed to a solid seabed and riverbed for them to have a solid ground to walk on.

But Jesus Christ of Nazareth raised the bar of miracles further. Instead of dividing the waters into two and walking through the congealed seabed on the dry ground like Moses, Joshua, the Children of Israel, Elijah and Elisha, Jesus proved that He is the Almighty God by defying gravity and walking on the stormy like in Genesis 1:2b

"....And the Spirit of God MOVED UPON THE FACE OF THE WATERS."

What does Jesus walking on water symbolize?: Jesus walking on the water is depicted as one of the miracles of Jesus recounted in the New Testament. They were frightened, thinking that they were seeing a SPIRIT, but when Jesus told them not to be afraid, they were reassured. After Jesus entered the ship, the wind ceased, and they arrived at land.

This portends (serve as a warning, sign or omen of) the proof that Jesus Christ is the LORD God made manifest in the Flesh – FIRST as the Spirit of God who moved on the Waters in Genesis account of creation, and FINALLY the LORD God now in the Flesh walking on the Stormy Sea.
