NATIONWIDE STRIKE BEGINS TODAY
Members of Senior Staff Association of Nigerian University (SSANU) and Non Teaching Staff union (NALU) will be begin their nationwide strike today.
This directive was issued by the leaders of both unions as pertaining to the 40billion Naira allowances shared by the Federal Government. The strike which begun at 12 midnight, February 5, 2021 will end pending contrary resolution by the branches.
ANDRE ONANA BANNED BY UEFA
Ajax's goalkeeper, Andre Onana has been 12 months ban from all football related activities both national and international for failing the anti dope test last October.
The suspension is effective from February 5, 2021. Ajax media personality claims that Obama took Lasimac, a drug that was prescribed for his wife when he was feeling sick, hence Furosemide in his urine. However, Ajax states that they will appeal the ban at the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).
SERIKI FULANI SPEAKS
Seriki Fulani has narrated that he is yet to recover from the trauma of Igboho attack in their settlement last month.
He went ahead to say that he gets scared and cold anytime Igboho is mentioned. The Seriki Fulani who has relocated to his hometown in Ilorin, stated that when he heard Igboho has gone to Ogun state, he could not sleep. He however went to accuse Igboho of killing his only brother during the attack that fateful Friday.
IPOB SETS
IPOB members have been alleged to have set a police station ablaze in Ebonyi state.
The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Loveth Odah confirms this via a statement issued in Abakaliki the state capital. It was gathered these hoodlums have burnt the Police Division Headquarters in Isu, Onicha LGA of Ebonyi state. The PPRO also stated that four patrol vehicles were burnt as well.
One will wonder if these hoodlums are IPOBs or there is a larger plot to classify IPOB dangerous so as to tag them terrorist? Or perhaps, these hoodlums are truly IPOB, the salient question is, why burn a police station that was erected to safeguard the lives of the people in the state? I'm sure Nnamdi Kanu won't like this.
