UYO: 36-year-old lady allegedly butchers ‘sugar daddy’, cart away car and N2.9 million.

Lorretta Anoh, 36, is suspected of murdering her buddy, Chikoka Emeka Henry, an international businessman, and taking a 4Matic Mercedes Benz car and N2.9 million naira in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State's capital.

SP Odiko MacDON, the state's Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the event in a statement given to DAILY POST on Thursday evening.

The culprit has been arrested, according to the police spokesman. He also stated that the victim's stolen things had been retrieved.

Following a complaint from one of the victim's friends, Collins Okpara, the state police command was able to apprehend the alleged murderer on Wednesday.

The statement reads as follows: “On 4/8/2021 at about 9:10 am, following a complaint from one Collins Okpara ‘m’ of Afaha Road, Uyo that he contacted his brother, one Chikoka Emeka Henry ‘m’, 36 years of age via phone but couldn’t get a response, he decided to visit the said Chikoka in his apartment located at No. 2 Osongama Estate, Uyo.

“On getting there, he found him lying in his pool of blood, dead. He further informed the Police that his black 4Matic Mercedes Benz car with Reg. No. EKY 694 GP was removed from the car park.

"The Commissioner of Police, CP ANDREW AMIENGHEME, psc(+) FDC, was prompted to order a thorough investigation as a result of the report.

“Operatives of the ‘B' Division at Ewet Housing acted quickly, removing the deceased's body, which had an ax cut on his head according to preliminary assessment, and depositing it at UUTH for autopsy.

“Operative officers carefully tracked and apprehended the main suspect, Lorretta Anoh ‘f', who was last seen entering the deceased's home on March 8, 2021.

A quick search of the victim and discovered an amount of N2,943,250.00, which she admitted to stealing from him.

"At the time of her arrest, the suspect was arranging for the deceased's 4Matic car to be transferred to her personal vehicle.

The Commissioner of Police, angry by the suspect's actions, has ordered that the matter be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for a discreet investigation, while also advising members of the public to be vigilant and mindful of their environs.”
