There is growing tension in Zamfara State after youths of Jangebe vowed to kill any government official or security operative that visits the community.
The youths made this weird decision after a teenager was killed yesterday by the Nigerian army during a protest staged by youths of the community.
Trouble started when government officials went to the community with the abducted school girls to reunite them with their parents.
According to Sahara Reporters, while the speaker of the Zamfara State House of Assembly, Alhaji Nasiru Muazu Magarya was making a speech, some anxious parents disrupted him and took their children home.
As a result of the commotion, the speaker and other dignitaries hurriedly left and shots were fired by men of the Nigerian Army to disperse the crowd.
A teenager was killed in the process and this angered the youths of the community who have vowed to kill any government official or security operative that visits the village.
