Senator Shehu Sani has revealed what a Judge did to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) today at the court. The Nigerian Senator and human right activist disclosed this via his recent tweet on his Twitter account.
Sharing his tweet, he stated that EFCC took to their official Twitter page yesterday and misinformed the public regarding processing in the court and defamed his name as well. He revealed that other media platform copied the false information and disseminated it via their various platform.
Senator Shehu disclosed that EFCC was openly scolded by a judge today for their misrepresentation and outright falsehood.
"The @officialEFCC yesterday used their Twitter handle to misinform the public about the proceedings in the court & maligned my name. Their media friends copied and pasted those lies. Today the Judge Openly Scolded them for their misrepresentation & outright falsehoods."
Nigerians who came across the tweet urged Senator Shehu Sani to sue EFCC. They revealed that EFCC needs to pay for damages.
