Popular actor and lawyer, Kanayo O Kanayo has taken to his official social media handle to lament about the level of hardship in the country regarding the Naira scarcity.
In a video, Kanayo O Kanayo said he sees trouble looming, adding that if DSS and Police are not careful many will take laws into their hands and they should be ready to arrest everyone.
He said one can't buy little things on the street and collect the balance, adding that everyone is complaining that there's no money and doesn't want to collect the old notes. He said CBN is a structured organization and since the Supreme Court ruled that N500 and N1000 notes are still legal tenders till 31st December 2023, they should pump N100 and N200 into circulation while sensitizing people that the old N500 and N1000 are still legal tender.
He said people are frustrated and the cash scarcity can push them to the wall so the Police and DSS should be ready to arrest all Nigerians.
