4 Ways The Monday Sit-at-home Is Affecting Residents Of The Southeast Region

It is no longer news that the secessionist group has declared a weekly sit-at-home over its leader, Nnamdi Kanu’s incarceration. There are four ways the Monday sit-at-home is affecting residents of the Southeast region.

1. The Monday sit-at-home may be inconvenient for southern residents who rely on business activities for a living. As a result, if the Igbos continue to comply with the Monday sit-at-home, many residents who rely on daily business may go hungry for that whole day.

2. Most importantly, hoodlums may take advantage of the opportunity to engage in deadly activities that may result in the loss of lives and property. We can recall how unknown gunmen have been terrorizing the Southeast, particularly Anambra state for several days.

3. The Monday sit-at-home will continue to hurt the economy and those who rely on daily labor to support themselves.

4. It will have a huge effect on a large number of people, however, causing the Igbos to lose a lot of money without delivering any positive outcomes at the end of the month.
