Aproko Doctor, a well-known Nigerian actor and comedian, took to Twitter to share a video of Nigerian police officers begging a foreigner to give them money. The foreigner was riding a bike in the video, and as soon as he parked his bike, a uniformed police officer approached him and began questioning him.
The Nigerian police officer, who was dressed in uniform, inquired about the foreigner's origins, to which the foreigner replied that he was from Benin Republic and that he was on his way to Lagos. When the Nigerian police officer inquired as to why the foreigner was traveling to Lagos, the foreigner said that he was just passing through after visiting Gabon, South Africa, and the Benin Republic.
The foreigner, who did not give his name, claimed to be a Spanish citizen. The Nigerian police officer, on the other hand, demanded money from the alien, even though he did not have any Nigerian currency on him. The Nigerian police officer said that he would convert the currency to Nigerian currency, but that the most important thing for him to do is to have some cash.
The foreigner said that he had no money on him and that his only possession was his credit card. Take a look at the screenshots I took from the video.
While the Nigerian police officer in front of the foreigner was requesting money, another officer approached from behind and inquired about the foreigner's occupation. The foreigner said that he works as a 'informatic' in Spain.
The officers were unaware that the foreigner had a camera attached to his shirt.
