The former girlfriend of George Floyd, Courtney Ross reacted to his killer, Derek Chauvin being found guilty of all charges and given years in prison which was the judge's final verdict on the murder case. She celebrated the victory as the case was won and George had gotten the justice he deserved.

Courtney and George were in a serious relationship when he was alive and would have gotten married had he not been murdered by the police officer. Ross was hit hard after she heard George was dead and ever since then, she has not relented in fighting for justice to prevail.
Ross stated that she was not surprised with the verdict as she was very confident that Chauvin, George's Killer would be found guilty in the court of law.
She told reporters on the streets that George's case which was won is a clear indication that "change is coming" while also emphasizing on America needing a lot of change especially the police which should be reformed.
She further said that a lot of repercussions need to be made from the past, so old murder cases need to be reopened and reexamined for people to be held accountable.
Recall that Ross testified on behalf of Floyd during the Trail for prosecution on the 4th day, speaking tearfully on her relationship and with Floyd. They were together for many years before his death.
