A young tricycle driver has been reportedly shot dead by a police officer in Rivers state because he refused to give the policeman 100 naira.

The tragic incident happened at on Thursday morning, 10th December, 2020, at Rukpokwu community in Rivers state.
According to an eyewitness who posted the video of the incident on Instagram, Jordiithegreat, the commercial driver was allegedly shot dead by the policeman because he refused to give him money.
The eyewitness who revealed the Keke driver a small boy who was hustling for his future said the boy was stopped by the police officer at Rukpokwu community. The police demanded 100 naira from the boy, and the boy said he doesn’t have any money on him.

The thing resulted to an argument, the argument heated up that the police brought out his gun and shoot the boy and he died instantly. The policeman and other officers left the scene immediately.
