Unknown Gunmen abduct widow of PDP boss and 13 others.

Unknown Gunmen have abducted 14 people in Okunland, Kogi state, including the widow of Matthew Kola-Ojo the formal PDP zonal chairman.

The victims were kidnapped along Iffe -Egbeda road in Ijumu local government of kogi state.

However, it was sad to know that Mrs Kola-Ojo was travelling for the first time after concluding the mandatory mourning period of her late husband.

It was later gather that 5 of the victims were released, including the the widow.

Confirming the story, president not Okun Development Association (ODA), Chief Femi Mokikah, said that information at his disposal shows that 8 people were released.

He also said the kidnapers have contacted the relative of the woman but at yet to make any demand.

Mokikah said; the person the kidnapers contact was an uncle to Mrs Kola-Ojo and they told him they had Mrs Kola-Ojo in their custody but before they could make any demand for ransom his battery was flat. He said we are hoping they call back before the end of today.

" I got the information about the kidnapp saga about 10:30 a.m and we have start shouting to those that matters, including the senior security adviser to the governor for help."

"ODA, in collaboration with Ijumu council officials are working around the clock for the release, he also urge the people to pray for Okunland.
