It has been a moment of joy and excitements as a vibrant youth in Cross River State has promised to pay for Jamb form and acceptance fees of people from the thirteen (13) council wards of Yakurr Local Government Area.
Mathias Enang Ejukwa is the Special Assistant to the governor of Cross River State, Sir Ben Ayade on Cyber Crime Audit and Internet Forensics. He hails from Asiga village in Yakurr LGA in Cross River State.
Mathias who read Computing in one of the best universities in the country has pledged to be supportive and committed to the economic development of Yakurr and the state at large.
Mathias did not really get the best of treatment while growing up as a child, he was raised by a single mum. But he has chosen not to allow youths suffer, rather he will help people in his little way.
“I believe and hope to identify some honest people who will in each council ward recommend one person that will benefit in this educational empowerment. I will try as much as I can to ensure those who deserve this opportunity gets it and if they make it through their jamb and gain admission, I will also pay their acceptance fee of all 13 beneficiaries into the university. He said.
He also added that those illustrious sons of Yakurr who are doing well in their various fields should also take it as part of their responsibilities to assist their own.
