Photos Of The First SkyScrapper To Be Ever Built In Nigeria

Have you heard about the first skyscraper in Nigeria and where is it located in Nigeria? Everything in this world must have a premiere. There were also the first humans on earth. So Nigeria has the first skyscraper in western Nigeria. Nigeria's first skyscraper is in Ibadan in Oyo state.

This skyscraper is called "Cocoa House" and was completed in 1965, just 5 years after Nigeria's independence. The building is a 26-story building that has stood for many years.

This building is called the Cocoa House because it was built from agricultural income and goods from the ground, especially cocoa. The building is 105 meters high and still stands today.

There is no doubt that this building was built with ancient materials that are very sturdy and can last for years. The building was renovated in 1992 after a fire broke out in several parts of the building. After being renovated, the building was immediately put into operation. There are many rooms that people can sleep in.

There is no doubt that this building is gradually falling into disrepair. This is a building that has stood for more than 50 years and is gradually ageing. Everything in this world will get worse over the years, including humans. But something about this building is that it is still standing, but very old, even older than many people living today.

From the above pictures, you would notice that the building is deteriorating. If renovated by the Federal Government of Nigeria, it might serve as a tourist site to many.

What do you think the Government should do in regards to the renovation of the building?
