Traffic Policeman Returns N1.2 Million Recovered From Accident Scene

A police Sergeant, Kabiru Isah, has given back N1.2 million recovered from a very fatal Accident scene to the spouse and children of the deceased in Kano State.


The Kano State police spokesman, ASP Abdullahi Haruna, stated this in a announcement on Saturday in Kano.


Mr Haruna stated that the policeman connected to the command’s Motor Traffic Division (MTD) recovered the cash in the process of evaluation in an accident scene at the Kano-Zaria road.


He stated that an articulated car had knocked down a motorbike rider, who died at the spot, including that the sufferer was in charge of the cash packed in a box.


“The police officer gave back N1.2m discovered on the scene of the deadly twist of fate,” he stated.


Mr Haruna stated that the Commissioner of Police, Sama’ila Dikko, passed over the cash to the family of the deceased and alerted the police employees and citizens of the nation to emulate Mr Isah’s excellent deed.


According to him, the Managing Director, Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA), Baffa Dan-Agundi, proficient Isah with N100,000 as praise for his honesty and determination to duty.


Mr Haruna stated that the command, in an associated activity, dispensed meals gadgets to widows of 26 police employees who lost their lives in service.
