Death has taken away another prominent Nigerian. It is a sad Tuesday for Nigerians as the death of another prominent Nigerian man has been reported.
The 34 year reign of Alhaji Salisu Tanko has come to an end. He was turbaned Emir in 1987.
Alhaji Salisu Tanko was announced dead this morning. The Emir who is survived by two wives and fifteen children was aged 102. Vanguard News reports that Alhaji Salisu Tanko died at the IBB Specialist Hospital, Minna, Niger State.
The late Emir will be buried today, by 4pm Nigerian time in Kagara.￼￼ More updates from the burial ceremony of Alhaji Salisu Tanko will be reported in due course.
