The rate at which some Nigerians indulge themselves, in illegal businesses these days is kind of disturbing and it makes one wonder, which way are we going with all these daily sad happenings. It seems like the fear of scammers will now be the beginning of wisdom as they have flooded the society with different business identities and ways of taking from poor innocent Nigerian who also out of greed do fall for these dubious personalities. This story I am about to share with you is a very sad one, according to the popular online blogger, yabaleftonline, said this unidentified young man, who said to have invested the sum of one hundred naira only (N100k) into a business.
According to him, he contracted the business with someone who allegedly told him, that he is an Access Bank Representative, so he invested the above-mentioned amount, after which he will be getting the sum of One Million Naira Only back in return in less than 2 hours. However, when the hours reach he try to contact the alleged bank representative, the number wasn't available anymore. It was at this point, he knew he has been scammed, so he decided to do did next, by going to one of the access banks to demand his money, since the person who asked him to invest the money claimed to be from their bank.
This is the reason you can see him creating the scene outside the bank, while he is been told to calm down by an army officer. However, it was also gathered that the officials of the bank had said to him, that they cannot help him because he is not a customer with them.
The issue with humans is that they failed aware of the fact that this kind of doubling business is a scam, yet they still invest a huge sum in out of greed and at the end of the day, the pains become unending to bear. Dear readers what your opinion on this?. Should the bank be responsible for him?
