It was reported today from a reliable source that Argentine investigators paraded the home of late football legend Diego Maradona over alleged grossed medical negligence.
The blitz comes after Maradona’s lawyer last week called for a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of the 60-year-old former soccer phenom, who died Wednesday after suffering a heart attack, the Mirror reported Sunday.
Investigators converged on the home of the doctor, Leopoldo Luque, 33, around 8:40 a.m. Sunday and are expected to question him as they probe possible medical negligence in Maradona’s death. Though the Neurosurgeon said yesterday Leopoldo Luque says he will not be held responsible for the death of Diego Maradona after police seize documents from his house in Buenos Aires.
Police in Argentina have raided the home and private clinic of Leopoldo Luque, the doctor of Argentina legend Diego Maradona, who died on Wednesday after suffering a cardiac arrest at his Buenos Aires home.
