Information reaching our news desk now has it that three members of Nigerian Police Force have been killed at Neni junction in Anaocha Local Government Council of Anambra State by unknown gunmen.
According to a report from a reliable source, their security vehicle was also set ablaze by the gunmen.
It was also learnt that on a separate attack 3 naval officials were also feared killed at Awkuzu in Oyi Local Government Council of the State.

It was also learnt that the two developments happened around 5pm almost coincidentally.
Deputy Superintendent of Police, Mr Ikenganyi Tochukwu, who is the new Police Public Relations Officer in the State had not issued a statement in relation to that, according to a reports.
He said that statement will be issued later and copies made available to pressmen.
Meanwhile, one of the senior police officers who spoke under the condition of anonymity, comfirmed the development.
