There is great fear in Imo State as two Traditional Rulers were shot dead by unknown gunmen today.
According to reports, the incident took place in the Njaba local government area of the State. It was also disclosed that the traditional rulers were having a stakeholders meeting before the attack from the unknown gunmen.
Meanwhile, the deceased were identified as Eze Osunwa of Ihebineowerre, and the Obi 1 Of Okwudor, Eze E. Anayochukwu Durueburuo.
Confirming the incident, the State Police Public Relation Officer, Mike Abattam told "Vanguard" that the incident took place around 2:30 pm today, adding that the attackers came with their vehicles.
The truth is that this issue of unknown gunmen is becoming more alarming. Every day comes with a different story and something needs to be done.
Now my question to anyone who comes across this post is; what can we do to eradicate this issue of unknown gunmen in the country?.
