Wike To Block Akpabio From Using Roads.

Governor Nyesom Wike has threatened to bar Godswill Akpabio, the minister of Niger Delta Affairs, from using a road Rivers government is constructing. Mr Wike said at the inauguration of the Muhammadu Buhari Nigeria Police Protection Unit, an NDDC 68 flats project in Port Harcourt.

Mr Wike accused the minister of reneging on his pledge to contribute to the road construction.

The Rivers governor revealed that there was an agreement between his government, the NDDC, and the Niger Delta Affairs on how to contribute to the construction.

Ndigbo Asked To Observe Minute Of Silence.

As part of the activities to mark the Igbo Day of Mourning, the Ohanaeze Ndigbo has asked Ndigbo to observe a one-minute silence at noon today, September 29, 2021.

Chinese ambassador to Nigeria, Cui Jianchn, has said the Chinese government is ready to help Nigeria reduce poverty under President Muhammadu Buhari’s regime by sending young Nigerians to China to understudy the system and return to impact the Nigerian system.

The Chinese ambassador disclosed this on Tuesday in Abuja during the closing of the Nigeria-China Cultural week and award ceremony, a lineup of activities to commemorate the October 1 independence day of both countries.
