According to vanguardngr ( 15 May, 2023 ). In Kaduna, there was chaos when a man, who was attempting to avoid being arrested, detonated an explosive device, resulting in his own death.
Witnesses reported the man, who was a family man, used an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in his attempt to evade arrest by security personnel. The incident took place in the early hours of Monday morning on Ibrahim Haske Road in the KEKE community in Kaduna Millennium City. According to reports, the man was using explosives during an exchange of gunfire between himself and the security forces.
The police found an AK-47 rifle and two additional IEDs within his house. Community leader Malam Samaila confirmed the incident prevented people from coming near the man's house, and it was likely the security forces had tracked down the suspect to his house to arrest him. The police hadn't released a statement regarding the event.
