Halima Usman, one of the female students of Government Day Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State, who was kidnapped along with hundreds of girls by the members of Boko Haram in 2014; has lamented on how difficult she finds it to take care of the twins she had for one of the Boko Haram members before she escaped.
She lamented that despite spending 3 years in the Boko Haram's den before escaping, she is still living a difficult life, since she has lost her parents and siblings due to the crisis.
One of the parents of the kidnapped girls, also complained on how they have been living in agony since their children were kidnapped; lamenting that things seized going fine for her since her daughter, Rose was kidnapped by the Boko Haram.
They therefore call on the federal government to come to their aid and save them from insurgency.
This is coming few days that the parents of the kidnapped Chibok girls lamented that they wanted to see their children before they die of old age, as they are already getting old.
It was really touching and deplorable as they reminded the federal government that last Wednesday 14, 2021, made it 7 years that their daughters were kidnapped; and no one can tell their whereabouts till date.
It was learnt that, though some of the Chibok girls have escaped, while some have been released through negotiations; but over hundreds of them are still held captive by the Boko Haram.
