NIN: Kaduna To Support Enrolment Of 95 Percent Residents By 2022

KADSRRA: The Kaduna State Residents Registration Agency made an important announcement today supporting the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) to enroll 95 percent of Kaduna state residents into the National Identity Database (NIDB) by next year, this statement was released by the Executive Secretary of the Agency, Dr. Zayyad Tsiga in an interview on Monday at Kaduna.

A source revealed that Dr. Taiga urged that the state government had been working closely with NIMC since 2015 to expedite the enrolment of Kaduna state residents into the NIDB, as he also revealed that KADSRRA was established in 2018 to coordinate the collaboration with NIMC to providing the state with the necessary residents’ data for informed policy and decision making.

An Elderly lady identified as Blessing Jimoh has been arrested by policemen for allegedly killing her mother, Ijeoma Odo in Ondo State. She revealed that she has to cut off the woman’s neck with a cutlass after a Pastor said her mother was a witch.

However, Blessing also said that her mother inflicted her with madness, and also she has four children and they both committed the crime while they were working at the farm in the Ile-Iluji area. Meanwhile, She was been arrested alongside the other criminals by the policemen in Akure, Ondo State.

President Buhari Speaks Again

President Buhari release another great news to Nigerians today at Abuja as he assured all citizens that his administration will leverage Nigeria’s robust gas resources, currently standing at 600 trillion cubic feet, to urgently industrialize the country and ultimately diversify it away from petroleum, which is gradually being discarded for cleaner energy sources that gas provides, he made this statement at the “The Decade of Gas in Nigeria” initiative he recently launched.

He made Nigerians understand that the rising global demand for cleaner energy sources has offered Nigeria an opportunity to exploit gas resources for the good of the country, that all the opportunities provided by gas will be fully explored.

A source revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari has told participants at the Pre-Summit that while his administration has prioritized gas development and recorded remarkable progress, it is well known that Nigeria is a gas nation with a little oil, but the country has focused on oil over the years.
