The suspects confessed that they were 25 in number who carried out the kidnappings. Only 3 of them are in the police net.
Sufficient intelligence is being gathered to nab the rest of the suspects who are still at large, and they are closer to get the rest, said Mba.
About 100 of the victims have so far been freed by their abductors.
Abubakar, who was dressed in military camouflage, said they were involved in kidnapping people because we needed money to take care of our needs
He went further to reveal that he got 100,000 naira from the ransoms they collected from the 126 students that were.
Kudos to the police! We hope that the rest of the suspects will be brought to book to face the wrath of the law.
