Josef Onoh, the southeast presidential campaign spokesperson of the APC reminded the Igbo people living in Lagos that Yoruba people are the most accommodating people to the igbo ethnic group. He said that the Yoruba people accommodate the Igbo people more than any other ethnic group in Nigeria.
In his words "The Yorubas are so accommodating, they are the ones that have been accommodating us in Lagos since we came to Lagos to trade, they never despised us neither do they want us to return to the southeast".
"There are many things that can prove that they are accommodating to the igbo people, many streets in Lagos are being named after Igbo names, which is not much in the southeast, they have shown us love since we started residing in Lagos, and undoubtedly, we are like brothers to them.
Josef Onoh also said that it is because of the hospitality of the Yorubas that the igbo businesses could strive in Lagos and the Igbos should always reciprocate the love to the Yoruba people. Josef Onoh said this while campaigning for governor Sanwo-Olu's second tenure in office.
