The Katsina State Police Command has disclosed that bandits now send their disguised wives to buy them petrol in the town.

This is after the security operatives arrested a 25-year-old suspect, named Rashida Hussaini who came out to buy petrol in gallons concealed in sacks and leathers for usage by the bandits in the forest.

The police noted that it is the latest trick employed by the bandits as the state government has already banned the sale of petrol in jerricans by fuel stations.

However, two fuel stations were permitted to sell petrol in jerricans in some local government but they are not to sell for more than N5,000.

The Police Public Relations Officer of Katsina Command, SP Gambo Isah paraded the woman wearing a hijab in a one minute and 35 seconds video clip, where he made the revelation.

According to him, the woman, who bought the petrol for usage by the bandits in their motorcycles claimed to be from Niger Republic.
