Mixed reaction has been generated on social media after reports that a sacred tree caught fire and fell down in Kenya.
It noted that the bizarre incident is coming just three months after another Mugumo tree fell in the neighboring Kiambu county.
This latest incident is said to have occurred at the Gacharage Shopping Center according to a video that was circulated online.
The Magumo trees are so sacred and special in Kenya to the point that when the authority had proposed to cut down the tree to pave way for a road construction, it was greeted with protest and they backed down.
However, what must have caused the fire is not known yet, but Kenyans and others who know about the sacred tree have been saying their thoughts. See a couple of them below.
