This came up few days after the South east Governors established a security outfit named "EBUBE AGU" to tackle the issue of security challenges in each state and the region as a whole.
Due to this recent attack, Senator Shehu Sani has decided to condemn the attack, Condole with the families of victims of the attack and also advise the Police on what to do to be safe.
In his tweet, he said "The renewed attacks on police formations and the killing of Policemen, particularly in the South East is condemnable. The Police should be vigilantly able to protect their Facilities. My condolences to the families of the victims of the recent Anambra attacks".
Looking at Shehu Sani's post, he has taken his time to point out what is critical at this point and that is the how policemen can protect themselves and their facilities.
This recent attack is coming after several ones were recorded in south east states like Imo, Ebonyi, Abia and south south states like Akwa Ibom, Cross River among others. Just few weeks ago, Gunmen strike in Imo state as they stormed the Police Headquarters and correctional centre in the state thus burning vehicles into ashes and also made close to 2000 prisoners got freed and still at large.
In three months, attacks by Gunmen on Police Facilities has taken the life of over 10 Police officers while many have been critically injured and this has brought more panic to people in the region over the fear of what may happen next.
