A truck driver is currently on the run after he drove against traffic on Thursday on the Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos State and rammed into a Hyundai Sonata, injuries the driver of the car in the process.
The accident occurred around noon at the Marwa Bus Stop end of the ever-busy Lekki-Epe Expressway when the driver of the truck decided to drive against traffic due to the hold up on the stretch of the road he was passing.

As a result of this, he was said to have used the truck he was driving to hit an oncoming Hyundai Sonata, damaging the car in the process and the motorist was said to have sustained injuries during the accident.
The motorist was said to have been rushed to a hospital by officials of the Lekki Concession Company and policemen from Maroko Division who arrived at the scene shortly after the accident while the truck driver fled the scene immediately after the accident.
