Governor Seyi Makinde Visits Igangan After The Community Was Attacked By Herdsmen

The governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde took to his verified Twitter account to share pictures of him in Igangan after the community was attacked by Fulani herdsmen.

Recall that, some days back, herdsmen stormed the Igangan community, in the Ibarapa North area of Oyo state as they killed a lot of people and destroyed properties like buildings and vehicles.

A video also surfaced online to prove the fact that these Herdsmen truly attacked the community in Oyo state.

After this attack, Seyi Makinde visited the community and he promised the people that the attack will never repeat itself again.

He tweeted: "Today, we visited Iganagan and promised the people that the attacks that happened in the early hours of Sunday would never repeat itself. I pleaded with our people in Igangan not to take law into their hands but to support us as we address internal security failings.

"We also visited family members who lost loved ones in the senseless attacks, and promised to provide them with support in this time of grief. "

Here are some of the pictures the governor shared:
