Three people have been arrested after they kidnapped two lecturers in the Ahmadu Bello University of Zaria. Abubakar Aliyu, Abubakar Yakubu and Isaa Kabiru were arrested after having allegedly kidnapped two lecturers in the university. According to the suspects, they confessed that they decided to do so because they do not like the vice chancellor.
The vice chancellor of the university of Abu sacked the chief security officer. The former chief security officer decided to retaliate, to do this, he decided to destabilise the school. Abubakar Aliyu, one of the arrested suspect was also a security officer in the school. He liased with some of people and they decided to kidnapp in the university.
While confessing, he said that he doesn't like the vice chancellor and how the former chief of security officer was sacked. They tried to get back at the lecturer by kidnapping and destabilising the university. This act is really very bad and thank God that they've been arrested. They should be well punished for what they've done and a lesson to others.
