Miyetti Allah Asks Fulani Herdsmen To Leave Southern states

The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders’ Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Bauchi State Chapter, has urged its members to vacate the 17 southern states, where governors have decided to ban open grazing.

Bauchi State MACBAN Chairman, Sadiq Ibrahim Ahmed, while speaking to newsmen said following the ban, Fulani herdsmen were left with only one option, to vacate the South.

He stated that herdsmen have the option of breeding their cows in the North and selling them in the South.

The MACBAN Chairman alleged that armed robbery and kidnapping started in the South but were now being transited to the North. He therefore adviced Governors of the region to face the criminals and leave Fulani herdsmen alone.

He alleged further that President Muhammadu Buhari was a figurehead President who does not know what he was doing.

According to him, the President was not in control of affairs in the country, "If he was, he wouldn't have allowed some Governors to meet and take decisions that are against the Constitution."

Expressing similar sentiments as the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu, Nigeria (AMEN) Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka, the MACBAN Chairman said the solution to Nigeria's problems was for the president to resign.

He also called on Nigerians to elect a credible and competent person as President come 2023.
