Husband, wife, and their daughter have been arrested by the operatives of the Imo State Police Command in Duruegwele village, Umueze II, in Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of the state after they allegedly killed their last born, Chukwuebuka, for being too Stubborn.
According to reports, Mr. Lambert Ukachukwu, his wife and daughter, including his son, Philip, who is currently on the run, connived and killed the victim on the 17th of September, 2021, by hitting him with a piece of wood and left him for dead and after his demise, they buried him in a shallow grave.
But unfortunately for the perpetrators, the youths in the community noticed that something was amiss following Chukwuebuka’s absence, but when they confronted his family, the family lied to the youths that Chukwuebuka traveled to Ghana.
However, when the youths threatened to set the family's house ablaze, the daughter confessed. So the father was forced to exhumed Chukwuemeka's corpse from where he was buried.
The family were however arrested and are currently in police custody at the Imo State Police Command while Philip, the immediate elder brother of the deceased, is on the run.
This is heartbreaking, may God rest Chukwuemeka's soul.
