Ikpeazu Speaks
Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has explained that the reason his administration decided to relocate the Abia State College of Health and Management Technology, Aba currently at the heart of Enyimba to a new site at Umuobiakwa, was to help decongest the City centre.
The governor who made the explanation while laying the foundation stone for the construction of the permanent site at Umuobiakwa, said that the current location of the institution at the heart of the Aba City Center “has become unsustainable owing to increasing commercial activities in the area which impedes smooth academic work”.
Adamu Garba Speaks
On Saturday, a former presidential aspirant and northern commentator Adamu Garba took to social media to air his grievances on how Nigerians view controversial personalities from different parts of Nigeria.
Mr. Garba’s described people of southern Nigeria as hypocrites, saying they have always been reluctant to condemn criminalities when carried out by people of their region; as against how they display outrage when perpetrators are northerners.
“It seems to me that we have the gift of status, position, respect, and money for those killing and destroying in the South, while we have bombs and bullets for those doing the same thing in the North,” Mr. Garba said.
"Yoruba People Are Behind Kidnapping" -Seriki
Recently, the Seriki Fulani of Ibarapa, Oyo State, Alhaji Salihu Abdulkadir, has spoken about his eviction from Igangan, Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo State, following allegations of killings and kidnappings against Fulani in the community.
He said Yoruba people are behind kidnapping and not his people.
"From my findings, the people in Igangan were behind most of the kidnapping in the area. The indigenes were responsible for the kidnapping of the people and it came to a point that some of the victims were escaping from them. They then resorted to keeping the victims in their homes while negotiating for ransom with victims’ relations", Seriki Said.
Do you think Yoruba people are responsible for all kidnapping in Nigeria?
Do you think Fulani Herdsmen are are innocent people?

02-28 20:17:16I think this Adamu Garba is going nut gradually. I hope he has not graduated into smoking something higher than weeds. Has there been anytime any southerner denied that there are no criminals in the south? What we don't want is for his brothers to add to our problems in the south. If they want to capture or kidnapped a whole state in the north they are free after all they same bloods but don't turn our save haven to badit's colony. People like him needs to get the message clear.
