Nigerian artist Candy Bleakz recently used her social media platform to criticize the Lagos State police and her estate management for the recent murder of two individuals in her neighborhood. She reported that she was heading to church on Sunday morning when she saw a crowd outside, only to later discover that two people living next to her had been brutally killed and left at the front of their house.
The crime occurred around 2am, yet neither the police nor anyone from the estate management has come to address the situation. Candy Bleakz pointed out that her house and the crime scene were under the same estate management, but different security, and that the bodies had been left outside for too long. She expressed concern about the safety of herself and her neighbors in an estate where they pay over 5 million.
The police were contacted about the incident but were requesting fuel instead of showing up. The singer mentioned that the killers had already fled and the corpses were starting to emit a foul smell. Overall, Candy Bleakz used her platform to shed light on the inadequacies of the Lagos State police and the negligence of her estate management in addressing a serious crime in their community.
