His arrest was disclosed on Friday by Mike Abattam (A police spokesman) in Imo State. According to him, Uchenna Chukwu was arrested in Ehime-Mbano local government are of Imo State.

The Eastern Security Network (ESN), a security arm of IPOB was formed by Nnamdi Kanu. Despite several warnings from the federal government for the group to be dissolved, the group have still been carrying out unlawful activities in the South-East.
The arrest of Uchenna Chukwu is good news because it will help Nigerian security operatives in tracking the ways IPOB/ESN get their weapons from the borders.
