After the recent attack in Bori, Rivers State, the Local Government Chairman of Gokana and Khana has paid a visit to the families of the deceased. There was a recent attack in Bori on Sunday 29th August. According to the report, they killed a student of Kenpoly Bori with an artiste named Giobari Kpakol. The incident caused trauma among residents in the environment.
However, the Gokana Local Government Chairman, Hon. Confidence Deko and his match Dr. Hon. Thomas Barieere has paid a visit to the families of the deceased victims. Both chairmen promised the families to get to the root of the problem. Hon. Confidence Deko vowed to follow up with the Khana Chairman closely, ensuring they fulfill their promise of taking care of the late Giobaris' child. They made it clear that both Local Governments are brothers and shouldn't have problems.
They warned against those energizing the troubles between Khana and Gokana. We will support the families of the victims to ensure they do not suffer, they added. Both Local Government Chairmen promised to fight against insecurity. Shun cultism and other vices.
